WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Almondvale Karate Club would like to wish Hannah Wood a massive congratulations on being selected to represent Scotland in the up coming World Championship in Spain. I`m sure that you will do yourself and your Club proud. Well done.

2014

This year goes down in the clubs history as one of the most successful ever. The Assistant Club Instructors continue to excel in all competitions from Regional to International Level.

Fraser Albiston takes the step up to the SKF Squad for Kata, for 2016 his priority is to retain his place and try to push for The National Squad.

Kate Holligan has without doubt had her most successful year ever, from the Scottish International Gold at the start of 2014 to Silver at the European Wado at the end of 2014 and culminating with the huge step up to the Scottish National Squad for  The European All Styles in Switzerland in February 2015.

Hannah Wood, what can we say about Hannah. One of the most successful fighters ever to come out of Almondvale Karate and one of the most successful fighters in Scottish Karate ever. Hannah again retained her European Wado Title in Italy this year and retained her British 4 Nations Title among many other Titles in 2014. Like Kate, Hannah has been selected for the Scottish National Squad to compete in Switzerland in February 2015. Congratulations to Hannah for being selected in the Squad since 2010.

To the rest of our small but super successful club, these are the foot steps in which you have to follow. Mighty foot steps indeed.

Almondvale Karate Club would like to wish Hannah Wood a massive congratulations on being selected to represent Scotland in the up coming World Championship in Spain. I`m sure that you will do yourself and your Club proud. Well done.
